Training covered a range of topics from theory of public relations and public diplomacy to specific use of digital tools and practical examples of digital campaigning. High-ranking officials from nine participating countries boosted their communication skills and established a network of digital diplomacy professionals.

The training covers theoretical and practical aspects of digital communications, digital journalism, story-telling, strategic communications planning, video-editing, photography and design.

A four day event brought together digital diplomacy experts from 16 countries and served as a platform where everyone could share their best practices, ideas and experience.

Activities of the three-day training enforced the participants to join forces, ideas, and best practices to bridge challenges in the field and build a strong network for the future of the project.

The first meeting of the European Digital Diplomacy Exchange (EDDE) project Steering Board set the operational ground for the Steering Board, as well as to build the linkages and plans necessary to increase EU and NATO involvement.

The second meeting of the European Digital Diplomacy Exchange (EDDE) project Steering Board took place in order to review the project efforts within the current year,  address future challenges with an outlook to the sustainability of the project and to build beneficial partnerships with institutions, who are experts in the field of digital diplomacy and countering disinformation.

Three two-day trainings brought together PR representatives, members of the private sector, members of academia and many other experts working in the field of digital diplomacy with the aim of composing a functioning community, that could share experience, learn from their best practices or mistakes and most importantly build a better and more inclusive future for all of the communities combined.

The workshop gathered 40 journalists as well as academics and representatives from civil society to discuss how to address the disinformation challenges faced by both countries and multisector approaches to combating it.
